We went to the temple this morning and it was really good. I had a good experience. The temple is just a 5 minute walk from the mission office, it's so, so close. We went with a few zones together, so I got to see some buddies and I made a new friend. His name is Elder Tibbets and he is a stud. We talked about hiking together after the mission. After we went to a really good Brazilian BBQ.
I don't have anyway to send pictures, I'm sorry Mommy. I wanted to share one story real quick. Yesterday, we were walking to an appointment but we were early and there was this drunk man in the street. He came up and talked to us and this is fairly normal but I sat on the ground next to him and my companion and I talked to him for a bit. He was drooling and emotional and repeating himself but the one thing that was constant was his responding yes in agreeing he wanted to change. We walked him to his house, went in and talked to his sister Rosi. She expressed a loving concern for him and even got emotional for this man who seems so far gone. We had a prayer and shared a short message about prophets. After she said she had had a dream early that day about two men dressed in shirts and ties helping her brother out of a hole and bringing him back to his house. It is so amazing how the Lord works. I don't know why we walked that drunk man to his home, but the Lord had prepared the heart of his sister. We're going to go back and teach her tonight.
